The Eastern Health Library Service (EHLS) provides a professional knowledge and information service for Eastern Health staff, affiliated staff and students on placement, to support their work in clinical, educational, research and policy areas. The Library Service is continually working towards ensuring the resources available are of high quality, relevant and accessible in a timely manner.
Across Eastern Health, the Library Service provides access to:
- printed and electronic resources
- reference services
- database searching
- information search tuition
- internet access
- document supply
- study space
- and other knowledge and information services.
Library staff are located at Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre and Angliss Hospital, with attendance at other sites as required. Eastern Health staff can access library resources 24/7 via LibGuides. When offsite staff can access library resources via Citrix and the Clinicians Health Channel.
