The Outer East Crisis Assessment Treatment Team provides assessments to people in psychiatric crisis and short term home treatment as an alternative to hospital.

The team is a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment and home treatment to people who are suffering with an acute mental health crisis or a relapse of an existing mental illness.

CATT treat people in their own homes as an alternative to hospital, they can start medications as required and provide support and crisis counselling and psycho education to consumers and their families.

 

16-64 years of age.

This service is for consumers, family, or carers self referring as well as GPs, private psychiatrists, counsellors, and other agencies.

Anyone living within the local government areas of Maroondah, Knox, Yarra Ranges, Whitehorse East & Nunawading East may contact this service including prospective consumers, families/carers, health professions, GPs and specialists.
