The main role of the Eastern Health GP Liaison Officer is to develop and improve communication between General Practice and Eastern Health.
The GP Liaison Officer is available Tuesdays and Fridays, 08:00am – 5:00pm to answer any GP enquiries and can be contacted via email [email protected] or phone on 0403 914 357

Are your GP contact details up to date?
Eastern Health receives GP details via the National Health Services Directory (NHSD). Practice managers are reminded to contact the NHSD via [email protected] to make any changes. If the GP name and practice are not on the NHSD, GPs will not receive electronic summaries. Please contact the GP Liaison Officer if you would like any additional information.

Discharge summaries
Eastern Health discharge summaries are now uploaded to the patient’s myHealth record once they are complete. Pathology and medical imaging results are also uploaded. The patient must have consented to myHealth record for this to occur.

Pathology results
Eastern Health Pathology results can be electronically downloaded to your computer. To apply, register online with HealthLink. Then, fax your details, including your HealthLink EDI address to 9895 4602 (Attention: Rebecca). Alternatively, all pathology results from Eastern Health are now uploaded to myHealth record.
Medical Imaging
Eastern Health images and reports are available via the website at https://imaging.easternhealth.org.au. Sign up by registering online. You will require a Username and Password to access your patient images and completed reports. Alternatively, all radiology results from Eastern Health are now uploaded to myHealth record.
